Members of Voluntary Action are entitled to the following services:

• One-to-one organisational development support,
• Funding advice, and one-to-one bid writing help,
• Free accountancy advice,
• Free or discounted, local training (for example business planning, managing your finances, and first aid),

Information

• Free subscription to our quarterly newsletter ‘Voluntary Views’,
• Postal and electronic mailings with up-to date information and opportunities e.g. funding, training, events,

Opportunities to promote your organisation

• Your own mini-website and free website training,
• Free advertising of your services in our monthly e-bulletins,
• Low cost advertising in our quarterly newsletters and low cost inserts in our regular postal mail outs,

Meeting space and free equipment hire

• Concessionary use of our meeting and training rooms in the heart of Walthamstow,
• The loan of equipment such as OHP, screen, flip chart stand, and laminator,

Networking and Influence

• Take part in local networks,
• Get involved in influencing the local authorities,

Shape our organisation

• A vote at our Annual General Meeting,
• Put forward nominations for our Board of Trustees (members must have been in membership for more than one year).
