VERONRUTH SUPPORTING THE ELDERLY BECAUSE WE CARE.
We aim to support the elderly in general, providing equipments, services and training. We are a non-profit organisation set up for the benefit of our service users on a membership basis.
We will work hand in hand with other Organisations to help bring their services to fulfill the needs of our members and to help them in this crisis time due to Government cuts and the difficult economic climate that everyone faces.
Memberships will benefit the older person to enjoy various activities, outings, training and programs.
Members will have access to the following services which will be provided or arranged on the behalf of the older person by :
a. Subsidised transport for their day-to-day outings, journeys to appointments.
b. Utilities and other daily amenities need to make home living a better place
c. Hampers, (mainly fruits, tea, buscuits and other products subject to availability).
d. Arrange outings, gym for exercise, hydrotherapy and other activities like banquets, birthdays, arts and crafts.
e. Arranging pampering days (beauty, manicure, pedicure and massarge).
f. Introduction and advice regarding care and respite if needed.
g. Introduction to Public Office Services - Attorney, court of protection and other legal and community services.
h. Help with gardening and home repairs services (registered work men/women and volunteers).
j. Training in IT and other administrative duties like receptionist, meet and greet (customer services).
