Health and Social Care: Fairer Contributions Consultation
In July 2011 the Council wrote to residents seeking their views on the proposal to change the way people pay for social care services.
They looked at the responses they received, and have made some changes to the proposals. They also decided that they needed to provide more information and some further clarification on these proposals and therefore they are seeking your views again.
Whether or not you took part in their earlier consultation, they do wish to hear your views. The attached document details the proposed changes and the reasons for them.
Note: Responses to this survey will remain confidential. No information will be published that would enable individuals to be identified. You do not have to give your name. Your response will not be passed on to yoursocial worker or anyone else responsible for providing you with services or carrying out assessments and reviews, unless you ask them to. Your answers will not affect the services you receive. However, if any of your replies cause the Council concern that you may be at risk someone may contact you.
This consultation will run from the 9th April 2012 until 7th July 2012. More details attached below.
