Resource and Services Directory

Do you have any resources or services you can share with other local groups?

One way we can all help each other in these cash-strapped times it to offer access to resources or services to other local groups - we all have equipment that is not in use all the time:

For example, here at VAWF we have a big photocopier, and members can come in and use it at a really good rate. We also have other standard office stuff; projectors, document binders and they are available here at our offices.

So what can your organisation share with other groups?

Here are some suggestions for equipment:-

• Photocopier
• Office Equipment (laminators, card cutters, OHPs..)
• Trailers
• Tables, Play Equipment, Sports Equipment
• Induction Loop & Personal Address systems
• Wheelchairs
• Tools & Equipment

Perhaps part of your workforce is an expert and could provide consultancy:-

• Legal experts
• Computer geeks
• HR issues
• Procurement and purchasing

We don't expect you to start giving everything away, but if we can create a culture of sharing and cost spreading then we can all benefit.

So if you have services, resource or experience you would like to make available to the rest of the local voluntary sector, we would like to hear about it, and we will produce a directory with it all in to share with everyone.
