Your Sector Needs You...!

What does the Voluntary Sector
look like to you?

The voluntary sector is the backbone of our communities and is made up of all sorts of groups and organisations: charities, residents’ committees, social enterprises, informal groups…

We are building a profile of the sector that is going to help demonstrate value, raise funds and investment and prove need in Waltham Forest, but we need your help!

  • Do you know how many health organisations operate in Chingford?
  • Do you know how many hours are donated by volunteers to local sports groups?

Neither do we, but together we can find out.

If you represent a local group, we need you to logon to this website and update your organisation's profile, start by answering these simple questions:

  1. Is your group already registered on voluntaryaction.net?
Have a look through our network lists; we have compiled these from various sources, and it's likely that your group is already registered.

  2. Are you registered on voluntaryaction.net?
Every organisation needs at least one person responsible for it, and to be able to edit the organisation profile, you need to be registered and logged on to our website.  Check to see if you, or one of your colleagues is registered on the website:

What Next?

The next steps to get you on an editing the profile for your organisation depends on your answers to the questions above.  Cris Thompson is the Communications Officer here at Voluntary Action Waltham Forest, and he is here to help get groups using the website.  Cris works Wednesdays and Thursdays.
